Description
Intelligence: This is the ability to learn and apply knowledge. Intelligence is the Prime Requisite for Magic-Users. The ability bonus for Intelligence is added to the number of languages the character is able to learn to read and write; if the character has an Intelligence penalty, he or she cannot read more than a word or two, and will only know his or her native language.
Notes
- Higher intelligence gives you more resistance against certain Charms and Illusions:
- Charmed Targets with 13+ Intelligence save every day, those with 9-12 save every week and those with less than 9 save every month.
- Your Intelligence bonus is always added or subtracted from your rolls to Save vs Spells against illusions.
- 15+ intelligence allows you to find secret doors on a 1 or 2 instead of a 1 out of 6. This stacks with the Elf bonus to find secret doors.
- To prepare a spell from memory when she's lost her spellbook, a Magic-User must succeed on an Intelligence Ability Roll. A roll is never required to prepare Read Magic
