Description
Dexterity: This ability measures the character's quickness and balance as well as aptitude with tools. Dexterity is the Prime Requisite for Thieves. The Dexterity bonus or penalty is applied to all attack rolls with missile (ranged) weapons, to the character's Armor Class value, and to the character's Initiative die roll.
Notes
- Unlike Strength's effects on Melee Attacks, Dexterity only adds Accuracy, not Damage.
- A character's Dexterity Bonus is added to all Saves when speed is helpful
- Fleeing characters must make a Dexterity modified Save vs Death Ray when running through the threshold of a dangerous room - a failure indicates that character is stopped in that room for the round.
- Dexterity may be used instead of Strength to escape a pin while Wrestling
- A Dexterity modified Save vs Death Ray is used whenever falling into a pit, chute, ravine or similar threat. It's also used for traversing slick surfaces.
