News from the Western Marches! Six characters headed out to a mysterious sinkhole to the southwest, assuming that was the place the goblins of Old Town had escaped to. There indeed they were found, as heads mounted on spikes, their cowardice richly rewarded. Descending into h sinkhole, two caverns were investigated. In the first, a ferocious bear was slain and its cub taken into custody. Preceded by the now animated bear corpse, the second cave was breached, its stinking lizard creatures put to the sword, and the goblins' stolen treasures recovered. Of the adventurers, Wee Man the Thief was ambushed and killed by the lizard men, but avenged by his dog. Necromalkus the Necromancer, Bear Beerbeard the dwarf Fighter, Stevanus Hawking (elf Magic-User), Flatchet the Faceless (?human? Fighter) and Lanar of Un (human Fighter) returned to tell the tale, along with Wee Man's ferociously effective Dog. Several heads were carried to town; down the sinkhole, a stone door yet awaits further exploration!
