Octegistus' Lexikon

Sedambrino, the Childish found a book in the old tomb, being helpful for translating some languages. It has a stylized tonge on its cover. It was authored by the sorcerer Octegistus for the purpose of educating an apprentice named Fife it contains tables to translate a few languages; Protocommon, Elder Sylvan, and The Old Tongue which is referred to throughout the tomb as "Visirian".

There seems to be a personal note added at the back congratulating Fife for an undisclosed victory at a place called The Verdant Keep.

Translations:
The Sarcophages Room Carving Depicts Three Scene.

The first is of a Chimeric Bat creature sleeping with two armored figures surrounding it

One bears a golden circlet and holds a silver sword in his hand as he reaches into the creature's enormous head. Pulling out a flashing object.

The Other Watches while holding a golden flute in his hands.

The Inscription below reads;

Bifular’s Sightless Eye is stolen

The Second is of one of the armored figures fleeing as the other fights and is slain by the Chimeric Creature.

The Inscription below reads;

Firstborn of the Verdant Lord is Felled, His Companion Southward Flees

The Third is of a Black robed figure trapping the Chimeric creature inside a giant metal effigy. In the background a stone sarcophages can be seen that resembles the slain figure from the second image.

The Failure Bifular Imprisoned, the firstborn cursed and bound within the grubs of rot.

The Small Room Carving Depicts One Scene

An armored figure playing a flute in front of a batlike demon, the demon is then depicted falling asleep as another armored figure enters the scene.

The Inscription below reads;

Ethri performs the Somnic Hymn, as Noble Valak Approaches
