Description
Charisma: This is the ability to influence or even lead people; those with high Charisma are well-liked, or at least highly respected. Apply the Charisma bonus or penalty to Reaction Rolls. Also, the number of retainers a character may hire, and the loyalty of those retainers, is affected by Charisma as shown by the chart below:
Adjusted 2d6 Die Roll | Result |
---|---|
2 or less | Refusal, -1 on further rolls |
3-5 | Refusal |
6-8 | Try Again (Sweeten the Deal Somehow) |
9-11 | Acceptance |
12 or more | Acceptance, +1 to Loyalty |
Notes
- Dwarves cannot naturally raise Charisma above 17
- Retainer Loyalty is your Charisma Bonus +7 and works like a monster's Morale roll
- You may hire a number of retainers equal to your Charisma Bonus +4
- The party face or lead character adds their Charisma Bonus to the Reaction Rolls table to determine monster intent when there is ambiguity.
